Louis A. Falco, is the proud founder and president of Operations-Initiative Foundation Incorporated. Established in 2014, this foundation provides support for Veterans and their families who are suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in the New York area as well as promotes awareness of the needs and issues confronting our brave service men and women throughout the United States. Knowing the challenges these returning Veteran’s face, Mr. Falco also established Veteran Transitional Centers in Amityville and Hicksville, New York. A comforting place where Veterans, upon return from service, can seek information and references needed to assist them in the smooth transition into everyday life.
A natural leader, Mr. Falco is the Owner and Operator of Falco Maintenance Incorporated, a family business providing general cleaning services and products at the commercial and residential level, since 1963. A valued member of the community, as he was a first responder during “Super Storm Sandy” and assisted many families across Long Island.
Voted “Mr. Roosevelt” by the 1967 graduating senior class of Roosevelt High School, Mr. Falco always identified as a representative for his peers and his community at large. He served in the United States Marines Corp (1969-1971), where he walked point for his Squad, Company and Battalion. He received a good conduct medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal with Devise, as well as a Markesmanship Badge. A member of the Disabled American Veterans with honorable discharge, he understands the plight of the soldier and realizes the effects of war long after one has returned home. His reference manual for Veterans reflects this understanding and is given to Veterans both home and abroad.
